I built SilentSpot to solve "cafe roulette"—showing up to a coffee shop to work or take a meeting, only to find out it's blasting music at 85dB or has 2 Mbps Wi-Fi.
I realized standard map apps are terrible for environmental metrics. So, I built a crowdsourced map specifically for deep work. My absolute favorite feature we built is the 'Live Mic' tool: you can click a button on the site, and it uses your device's mic to calculate the live decibel (dB) level of the room and pins it to the map to help others!
