SideQuest
Hire locally — see their face and video before they walk in
Most hiring apps show you a résumé. SideQuest shows you a person. Applicants upload a video intro to stand out. Businesses can require video applications to filter for culture fit before anyone walks in the door. Résumé is optional. Listings are local by design — so local talent discovers opportunities they'd never find on a generic job board. Personality first. Local always.
I built SideQuest because local hiring is broken and nobody's really fixed it.
Small businesses post on Indeed and get flooded with applications from people who never show up. Job seekers send 50 applications and hear nothing. Everyone's frustrated.
The fix was simple: a resume tells you nothing about whether someone is actually a good fit. So I made video the center of it. Applicants can show their personality, not just their work history. Businesses can require video applications so they get a real feel for someone before they walk in the door.
No resume required. All listings are local. The whole point is connecting real people to real jobs in their own community, which is something the big job boards stopped caring about a long time ago.
SideQuest is live on the App Store now. Would love any feedback from this community.

Who hunted SideQuest?
SideQuest was hunted by Rosendo Inzunza. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
