Sideme
Your clipboard history, one shortcut away
Your Mac forgets everything you copied except the last thing. Sideme keeps it all: press ⌘⇧V and your history slides up as color-coded cards, with text, links, images, files, and colors. Search as you type, paste with ⌘1–⌘9, and skip password-manager clips. Free for your latest 50 clips; Pro ($2.99, one-time) adds full history, Pinboards, and iCloud Drive sync.

Every Mac has the same quiet problem: the clipboard holds one thing. Copy a link, then copy a line of text, and the link is gone. I lost count of how many times I went back to a tab or a chat just to copy something I'd already copied. So I built Sideme. Press ⌘⇧V and everything you copied slides up from the bottom of the screen as cards, colored by the app they came from. Arrow to the one you want and press Return: it's pasted straight into the app you were using. You can also type to search, or use ⌘1–⌘9 to paste one of the latest nine without even looking. A clipboard manager sees everything you copy, so privacy was the first design rule: • Your history stays on your Mac, in a folder only your account can read • Clips that password managers mark as concealed are never saved • You can exclude any app, and pause capture at any time • No account, no analytics. The only network calls are license activation and Check for Updates macOS Tahoe added a clipboard history to Spotlight, which is great for grabbing something from this afternoon. Sideme is for when you want more: clips that stay until you remove them, Pinboards for snippets you reuse every day, and a keyboard-first strip that works back to macOS 14 Sonoma. Pricing is simple. Sideme is free and shows your latest 50 clips. Sideme Pro is a one-time $2.99, no subscription, and unlocks full history with your own retention rules, Pinboards, and sync across your Macs through your own iCloud Drive. I'd love your feedback: what do you copy most, and what would make Sideme part of your day? I'm here all day to answer questions.
