I built ShowSeek because I wanted a Trakt alternative that actually fit how I watch things. I found Trakt clunky for day-to-day use, so I started building my own tracker, and it slowly turned into something worth putting out there for other people.
ShowSeek tracks everything you watch across movies and TV, keeps an accurate watch progress view per show (including next-episode info that's actually correct, not just "next episode aired"), and stays out of your way otherwise. It's free to start, with a paid plan for people who want more.
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's used Trakt, Letterboxd, or similar and has opinions on what's missing or annoying here. I'm actively building this and read everything.
