Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built ShotPocket because my Photos library had become a graveyard of screenshots — tickets, addresses, products, conversations, prices, things I wanted to remember… all saved with the optimistic belief that I’d somehow find them later. 😄
The idea behind ShotPocket is simple: a screenshot should behave more like saved information than just another photo.
So ShotPocket reads the text on-device and lets you search screenshots by what’s actually inside them. It also pulls out useful details like dates, prices, phone numbers and links, so you can act on them without digging through the image.
I also wanted privacy to be the default, not a setting. There’s no account and no screenshot processing on our servers.
One feature I especially like is Share with details — send the screenshot along with the useful information inside it, while removing anything you don’t want to share.
This is still the beginning, and I’d genuinely love feedback on what would make ShotPocket more useful in your everyday screenshot chaos. 🙌
