A while back I launched a site, tweeted it out, and watched the traffic roll in. Then I realized two days later I'd shipped a live Stripe test key, a broken OG image, and three pages with no meta description.vThe launch buzz was real. So was the cringe.
I kept a mental "don't do that again" checklist after every launch. ShipKit is that checklist turned into an app.
It lives in your menu bar. Paste a URL, and in a few seconds it runs 65 pre-launch checks: SEO, meta tags, Open Graph/social previews, broken links, payment test keys left live, mixed content, and a bunch of the small stuff that quietly makes a launch look unfinished. Then it gives you a score and exactly what to fix.
A few things I'm proud of:
- Whole-site scans check each page as its own type, so your pricing page, blog post, and waitlist get the checks that actually apply to them.
- Copy for AI exports every issue and its fix as one prompt you paste straight into Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
