I built Shelfmarked because I was tired of getting the same 10 book recommendations everywhere I looked — every "best books" list on the internet seemed to be reading off the same script.
The core idea is simple: instead of surfacing the same viral bestsellers everyone's already seen, Shelfmarked helps you discover books by genre, era, and readalikes, so you can find your next read instead of everyone else's.
