I’m the maker behind SheetCleaner.
I built it after repeatedly running into the same spreadsheet problems: customer lists collected from different channels, duplicate records spread across multiple files, inconsistent formats, and sensitive data that people understandably didn’t want to upload to another server.
SheetCleaner is a browser-based Excel and CSV cleaning tool. Your spreadsheet contents stay on your device, while you remain in control of every matching and merge rule.
With SheetCleaner, you can:
• Import multiple Excel or CSV files and sheets
• Deduplicate using one or multiple columns
• Keep the newest, oldest, highest, or lowest-value record
• Merge information from duplicate rows
• Apply case, whitespace, symbol, numeric tolerance, and regex rules
• Preview every deletion, update, and merge before exporting

I deliberately chose explicit, rule-based matching instead of black-box AI guesses. For business data, knowing why two records were matched can be just as important as finding the match.
