I built this after watching the official Jira Cloud for Sheets add-on limp along since the Dec 2024 API change - threads full of rate-limit errors, missing fields and reports that quietly stop at 1,000 rows. The non-trivial parts are all around Apps Script's limits: a 6-minute execution cap (so big pulls save a cursor and resume via background continuations), Jira's token-only pagination on the current search endpoint, and one time-driven trigger an hour to hang schedules off. Honest limits: Jira Cloud only, one-way into Sheets, no write-back, and schedules are hourly/daily/weekly. Free plan is one saved import with 500 rows; Pro is US$20/month flat per Jira site.
