No account, no upload and no size limit: the file travels over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection and is never stored on our servers. Share using a 6-digit code, a link or a QR code, or send one file to up to 20 devices at once. It also includes free PDF and image tools (merge, split, compress, convert, OCR) that run entirely in your browser, so those files never leave your device either.
We built ShareFilesFree because sending a large file to someone still usually means creating an account, waiting for an upload, or running into a size cap on a free plan.
ShareFilesFree takes a different approach. Your file goes straight from your browser to the other person's browser, over an encrypted connection. We never store it, not even temporarily. There is no file to take down, leak or hand over. Because it costs us nothing to relay, there is also no size limit and no paid tier.
What you can do:
• Send a file of any size with a 6-digit code, link or QR code
• Send one file to up to 20 devices at once with Group Share
• Receive on any device with a browser. There is nothing to install.
The one trade-off, stated plainly: both devices need to be open at the same time, because nothing is stored in between.
We also added a few free PDF and image tools that run entirely in your browser, in case they are useful.
