SharedLayers

Leave feedback where it belongs: directly on the website.

SharedLayers turns any website into a collaborative feedback space. Pin feedback, QA notes, and audit findings directly to the live page, exactly where they matter. Reply in context, resolve threads, and create separate layers for clients, teams, or different review rounds. Add it with one line of code on sites you own, or use the Chrome extension to collaborate on any website.

AI has changed how I prototype. Instead of stopping at Figma, more and more ideas now become real, coded websites within hours. That created a new problem for me: feedback. Screenshots, Slack threads, Looms, and long messages quickly become messy when the thing you are reviewing is already live in the browser. I wanted a simple way to leave feedback directly on the page, exactly where it applies, and keep the whole conversation in context. That is how SharedLayers started. The idea evolved from a simple commenting layer into something useful for client feedback, QA, UX/UI audits, and team reviews, whether it is a site you own or just a page you need to review.

Who hunted SharedLayers?

SharedLayers was hunted by Jacek Troszyński. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
