Share Terminal

Share your terminal. Nothing in between.

Share terminal streams a live shell from your laptop to a browser, peer-to-peer over WebRTC. No relay, no recording, end-to-end encrypted. A modern alternative to tmate and upterm.

Top comment

Hey everyone 👋 I built ShareTerminal because I wanted to be able to work while away from my laptop. My workflow is heavily dependent on Claude Code, and I realized that most of the time I'm just reviewing progress and giving instructions while it does the heavy lifting. But I still needed direct access to my machine to check logs, run commands, and inspect files. Existing claude code remote control feature didn't give me the raw terminal access I wanted, so I built ShareTerminal. It's a simple way to securely access and share your terminal from any browser using peer-to-peer WebRTC. No relays, no recordings, end-to-end encrypted. Would love to hear your feedback and answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out 🙏
