Hey all, thanks for taking a look at Serponado! It all started with the current Serponado SEO contest but the idea behind it is bigger than one single ranking race. SEO contests are so interesting because they demonstrate how search results may change under pressure. Pages go live, domains rise and fall, backlinks are built, strategies change, and the SERPs can look totally different from one day to the next. The problem is that most contests are difficult to follow from the outside. Often you need to check rankings yourself, compare competitors yourself, and piece together what is happening across different tools. That's exactly what Serponado is built to fix. The idea is to create a clean dashboard to keep track of SEO contests in general. Tracking rankings, visibility changes, competitor movements, backlinks, and daily SERP shifts should be easier not only for this contest, but for SEO contests to come. This initial launch is only the start. The current contest provides us with a live environment to test the concept, improve the data, and learn what SEOs actually want to see during a ranking competition. I’d love to hear your feedback, especially from anyone who has participated in SEO contests, followed them, or would like to see future contests tracked more transparently. Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted Serponado?

Serponado was hunted by Dani Schenker🇨🇭. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
