Seedling.cv

Cancel the founder cosplay. Get hired.

A year of "building" is not a career strategy. Seedling is for people ready to stop playing founder and start getting paid. Tell us everything you've done. For each job, we score fit and write a resume and cover letter that cites relevant work instead of the "polished one-pager" reused fifty times. We stretch language and embellish experience; we don’t invent history. Too big a claim to defend in an interview? We won't ship it. $5 for three roles. $200/mo until you’re hired, then cancel.

Hey Product Hunt — I’m the founder of Seedling.cv.

I’ve worked in tech for two decades. My résumé says infrastructure (Kubernetes and the like), but I’ve spent years across nearly every engineering discipline. I’ve designed circuit boards, data centers, frontends, backends, and middleware. I’ve led an SRE team, been the technical expert in million-dollar negotiations, shipped solo, and paved the way for 1,000+ developers. At last count I knew 39 programming languages well enough to be dangerous.

How do you fit all that into five bullet points?

Every résumé I wrote left out context — sometimes the exact context a job wanted. And sometimes I simply couldn’t face rewriting the same bullets again.

Why bother? Every good role draws a thousand applicants. Recruiters drown in AI-generated submissions: the same “I have 2+ years of experience, but I need an H-1B sponsor,” blasted at every LinkedIn post that mentions Python.

If you can’t beat them, join them.

If you can’t join them, fake it till you make it.

And if you have too much pride to lie on your CV?

That's where we come in. We'll lie for you.

The obvious problem with AI-generated résumés is hallucination. You finally read yours an hour before the interview and discover a bullet bragging about expertise in a field you’ve never heard of.

But what if the flaw became the feature?

Our adversarial model compares what you actually entered — the ground truth — with what the AI invents. It pushes back when the lie goes too far.

Just not all the way. 😉

What remains is the embellishment: the space between what you’ve done and what you can credibly claim. If you spent three years drawing comic books and three more as a cartoonist, but the job wants greeting-card experience, then you’ve drawn greeting cards.

Of course you have.

Even if you haven’t.
