To be honest, I just couldn't believe how quickly we all got used to blissfully sharing our private financial data, invoices, and business receipts online, uploading everything to third-party cloud servers just to track basic expenses.
Most of the existing tools out there either lock you into a monthly SaaS subscription or harvest your personal data behind the scenes. I hated that model, so I decided to build a local-first alternative.
SecureMyReceipts brings back the traditional desktop software model, but supercharged with modern tech. Here is what makes it different:

(One last note: I'm fully aware of the slight irony of talking about offline data security while offering a Windows app. But I'm trying my absolute best to get this as locked up as possible while still making it usable for everyday tasks!)
