Three things drove me crazy about YouTube. The video grid not being centered. "Most Relevant" eating up a full row on my subscription feed. Shorts taking over every page. I tried fixing these with existing extensions, but they were all-or-nothing. So I built Secare — per-element toggles with instant search. No bloat. Just hide what you want.
This started as a purely selfish project. Built what I needed for myself, tweaked it over months, and only then thought — maybe I'm not the only one annoyed by this. Extension itself has lot more tweaks, more showcases you can find on the website.
