Scrye

Made for people who can't put their phone down

Scrye is a screen time app that actually enforces your limits. Set a daily limit, block the apps that take the most, and schedule focus sessions for when you need to lock in. Unlike Apple's built-in Screen Time, Scrye makes bypassing a block intentionally difficult — you set the friction yourself. Track your streak, see your time saved, and watch the habit actually stick. Built by a solo dev who wanted a solution that didn't cost $100 / year.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! I'm a solo dev and I built Scrye because every screen time app I tried was either $100 a year, buried in features I didn't need, or both. I just wanted something simple — set a limit, block the apps that waste my time, and actually stick to it. So I built it myself. Scrye does three things: lets you set daily limits on specific apps, schedules focus sessions for when you need to lock in, and tracks your streak and time saved week over week. No subscriptions at $100 a year, no gamification, no clutter. Just a clean tool that does what it says. First app I've shipped. Would love any honest feedback from the community — happy to answer anything!
