We built Scryb because bookkeeping still eats up hours every week for finance teams — manually keying in invoices, matching receipts, reading bank statements line by line. Every tool we tried needed rigid templates or broke on anything handwritten or in a different language.
So we built an AI engine that reads any invoice, receipt, or bank statement — any format, any language, even handwriting — and turns it straight into a coded, ready-to-post accounting entry. No templates, no manual mapping. It publishes directly into QuickBooks or Xero, with a quick human review step before anything goes live.
We're a software team who spent a lot of time talking to finance teams and accounting firms about where their hours actually go, and this is what came out of it. Would love your feedback — especially on document types or edge cases that trip up other tools you've used.
