Screedy
Capture, annotate & turn screenshots into PDFs on Mac ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Screenshot to PDF on Mac, the easy way. Capture any area — or import existing screenshots and images — annotate, and merge them into one PDF. Free, native, no account.
👋 Hi Product Hunt!
I'm excited to introduce Screedy — a native macOS app that makes it easy to capture screenshots, annotate them, and turn them into clean, professional PDFs.
I originally built Screedy because my workflow was surprisingly fragmented. Taking screenshots, marking them up, hiding sensitive information, and combining everything into a single PDF meant switching between multiple apps. I wanted one fast, lightweight tool that handled the entire process.
With Screedy you can:
✨ Capture any screen area with a global shortcut.
✏️ Annotate with arrows, text, shapes, highlights and blur.
🔒 Redact sensitive information before sharing.
📄 Merge multiple screenshots into a single PDF.
⚡ Stay fully offline with a native macOS experience.
Whether you're documenting bugs, creating tutorials, sharing feedback with your team, or saving important conversations, Screedy helps you get from screenshot to PDF in seconds.
I'd love to hear what you think:
Which feature would make the biggest difference in your workflow?
What annotation tools would you like to see next?
Thanks for checking out Screedy! Happy to answer any questions throughout the day. 🚀
