ScopeLedger
Turn field changes into recovered dollars.
ScopeLedger is a private workspace built for specialty contractors (electrical, HVAC, mechanical, fire protection, and more) who lose money when changed work isn't captured before contractual notice deadlines expire. Log field changes as they happen, attach evidence, auto-track your notice window, and generate a reviewed notice draft — all in one place. See open exposure across every project instead of chasing scattered emails, photos, and daily logs.
I built ScopeLedger after studying a problem that costs specialty contractors real money: changed work happens in the field, but the commercial record often catches up too late.
The instruction may be sitting in a text thread. The photos may be on someone’s phone. The notice deadline may be tracked in a spreadsheet, or not tracked at all. By the time the record is assembled, leverage has already weakened.
ScopeLedger gives electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire-protection and other specialty contractors one private workspace to:
• capture changed work while the facts are fresh • track contractual notice deadlines • keep evidence attached to the relevant event • see open and weighted dollar exposure across projects • prepare a reviewed notice draft from the captured record
I built the product, its security controls, lead system and launch stack myself. My background is in sales, operations, CRM and business systems, so I approached this as an ownership and workflow problem rather than another generic project-management tool.
For the launch, I’m offering a free Change Exposure Review for one active project. I’ll map the available change records, identify documentation gaps and estimate how much value may be exposed.
Teams with a strong use case can then apply for a 90-day founding pilot at $7,500.
I would value direct feedback, particularly from anyone who has worked around construction, commercial controls or specialty contracting:
Where does your changed-work record usually break down—field capture, notice tracking, evidence, or ownership?

Who hunted ScopeLedger?
ScopeLedger was hunted by Syed Shahbaz. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
