Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Jose, a solo developer, and ScentPass started with an embarrassingly relatable problem: I kept walking into perfume stores, the sommelier would ask "so what do you like?", and I'd say something vague like "fresh scents" — and walk out with something that wasn't really me. The fix I wanted wasn't just a notes app. I wanted to actually understand my own taste in fragrance — and then use that knowledge everywhere. So ScentPass does three things: Discover — browse an extensive fragrance catalog by olfactory family (woody, gourmand, citrus, oriental...), season, or note pyramid. Not just a search box: a way to stumble into something you didn't know you'd love. Build your scent profile — your favourite families, the occasions you wear scent for, your signature fragrance. Walk into a store, show a sommelier your profile, and in ten seconds they know exactly where to start. Track everything — three collection states: Have, Tried, Wishlist. Rate each fragrance with your personal score alongside the community's, because a 9/10 for the world might not be a 9/10 for you. It's free, live on iOS and Android, and this is my first public launch — no team, no funding, just something I wanted to exist.
