Hi everyone, I'm Anagh Kanungo, an indie builder and the maker of Sayburst. Sayburst runs speech transcription locally on Apple Silicon Macs with Whisper and Parakeet. The workflow I want to make dependable is speaking a longer prompt or note, inserting it into the right app, and being able to recover the transcript when insertion is interrupted. It includes custom vocabulary, text replacements, per-app modes and local history. Try it for seven days without an account or card. Licenses are $29 for one Mac or $49 for three, with 1.x updates included. macOS 14+ and Apple Silicon required. Optional cloud writing can send transcript text and enabled context to your chosen provider. I'd love feedback on where dictation breaks in your day-to-day Mac workflow, particularly long prompts and technical vocabulary.
