I'm Alex, from Quebec. I taught myself to code, and SaveUp is the first real product I've shipped.
I built it because every budgeting tool I tried was either a complicated spreadsheet or an app that told me what I'd already spent without connecting it to anything I cared about. I wanted something that answers one question: am I actually getting closer to what I'm saving for?
So SaveUp puts the goal first. You set what you're saving toward, and the app tells you your realistic hit date based on your actual pace. There's a health score, a "what if" simulator, and duels — you can challenge a friend on a savings goal, and they only ever see your first name and your progress percentage, never your amounts.
