Sauce Finder
The reverse image search Apple should have shipped
Stop screenshotting and opening 4 browser tabs to source an image. Sauce Finder runs any image through Google Lens, SauceNAO, TinEye, and Yandex with a single share-sheet tap. Live Activity progress. Search history. iPhone + iPad. Free to try.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Huy, an indie iOS dev. Sauce Finder is the app I kept wishing existed.
The problem: I'd save an image - fanart, a screenshot of a chair I
liked, a meme, and weeks later have no clue where it came from. Google
Lens is great for products, but misses anime/illustration. SauceNAO is
the opposite. TinEye is the only one that reliably finds exact
duplicates and tracks where else the image lives. Yandex catches things
the others don't, especially faces and obscure stock.
I was constantly doing: save → open Safari → Google Images → upload →
back out → repeat for SauceNAO → repeat for TinEye. Ridiculous on a
phone.
So I built Sauce Finder. One image in, four engines out.
What's in the box:
🔍 Search Google Lens, SauceNAO, TinEye, and Yandex from a single image
📲 Share Sheet + Action extensions — works from Photos, Safari, Messages, anywhere
⚡ Live Activity shows search progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
📚 History tab — re-open any previous search
🎯 Pick which engines you want enabled in Settings
Free tier runs Google Lens. Pro is a one-time purchase (no
subscription) that unlocks the other three engines, full history
Two things I'd genuinely love feedback on:
1. The Share extension UX
2. Whether the engine-picker belongs in Settings or as a quick toggle
on the result screen
