Hi Product Hunt, I kept running into two problems with plant ID apps: they need internet, and they're hopeless with Indian plants — the curry leaf in my kitchen, the tulsi in the courtyard. So I built SASYA. It runs a vision model fully on-device, so identification works in under a second with zero signal — on a trek, in a basement, anywhere. And it's built India/SE-Asia-first: regional names across 9+ languages, care guides, app available in 4 languages - English, Hindi, Nepali and Bengali. Roadmap includes adding offline disease detection model, growing toward 10,000 species at high accuracy. One thing I'm proud of: there's no upload step at all. Your photos never leave your phone — privacy by architecture, not policy. It's free on iOS (Android soon). I'd genuinely love your feedback — especially on identification accuracy, which species you'd want added, and what features would make it more useful. Happy to answer anything about the on-device ML side too.
