I built Saltabo because macOS ⌘Tab switches apps, not windows. With five VS Code windows and three Chrome profiles open, I kept landing in the wrong place.
Saltabo shows every window with a live preview, so you pick the exact one you want.
What it does:
🪟 Window switcher – every window with a live thumbnail (or app icons, or a compact list)
🧲 Dock previews – hover an app in the Dock to see and switch to its windows
🔎 Search – press / in the switcher and type an app or window name
✖️ Window actions – close or minimize windows right from the switcher
🙈 Excluded apps – keep the apps you choose out of the switcher
🎨 Light, dark and system themes, in 10 languages
Privacy: thumbnails are captured and kept on your Mac. Saltabo needs Accessibility (to list and raise windows) and Screen Recording (for thumbnails), nothing else.
