Salahmaxxing

Ai that sees and counts your prayer bows out loud.

This is a first in the religious tech market. Have you ever been going through an Islamic Prayer (aka Salah), and at one point you forget which Rakat (bow) or Sajdah (prostration) you're at? Maybe it was random thoughts about that girl/guy that took your focus away, or maybe it's how you're gonna make your next million dollars? Or maybe you have ADHD? Or maybe it's just Shaytaan (Satan)? Well Salahmaxxing watches you like an Angel, and tells you which part of the prayer you're currently at

I got a lot of hate on Reddit for making this app. I wasn't sure why, when in reality all my thoughts whilst making this app was mostly to help people remember which Rakaat (Bow - part of the prayer) they have reached, as this is a global Islamic problem that everyone has faced at least a 100 times. I found out why later on however, when the barrage of the negative comments can be summarized as an attack on the sovereignty of the act of praying and the serenity that it brings. This app felt to them like an intruder between themselves and Allah (SWT) and being that parasite that comes in-between. "I am happy to be forgetful and try to practice my focus next time round, than a robotic Siri interfering in the process", said one angry Redditor. But then out of nowhere, some positive comments appeared. It was those who really had issues focusing. Not just the random warm thoughts of that one "hot" girl or guy that takes over your mind, but real people who seem to suffer with concentration/focus issues in all other aspects of their lives. People who had to count on their fingers whilst praying to keep record. People who couldn't sit still, or otherwise called as ADHD'ers. Those were only 5 percent of the comments, if not less. So with that being said, I'm glad to have made something that helps those 5% of people. Whilst this app might have unfortunately fallen in the "vitamin" (nice to haves) category of apps, it did end up being a "painkiller" (urgent) app for those 5% or less, and I'm just glad that minority can find this app useful for their problems. At the end of the day, the most important part is helping at least one person. And this app has achieved that milestone. Oh and btw I got banned on reddit eventually for "spamming" 21 sub-reddits with feedback on the app.
