SafeWebTool
Free browser-local tools — no uploads, no login, no ads
SafeWebTool is a free, open-source set of in-browser tools for everyday tasks. Your photos, videos, text, and files stay on your computer.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built SafeWebTool because I kept uploading files to random websites just to trim a video or compress an image — and always wondered what they were doing with my files.
Every tool runs 100% in your browser using FFmpeg WASM and Transformers.js. Nothing ever hits a server. 24 tools total: video trim/resize/reverse/convert/GIF, image compress/resize/crop/passport photo, OCR, speech-to-text, face detection, JSON/YAML formatters, timezone converters, and more.
All free, open source (MIT on GitHub), no login, no ads, no paywall.
Would love to know which tool would be most useful to you!
