Zen Hall

A quiet 3D ritual before you read

Zen Hall is RuShiWoWen’s quiet room before Buddhist reading. Light a virtual incense stick, sit for 3, 5, or 10 minutes with bells, mantra, or nature ambience, then receive a daily scripture passage. Its 3D grotto changes with local time and a day-specific atmosphere. It supports six languages, and the core ritual works offline without an account. Sign in to sync your stillness, choose mantra tracks, and download wallpapers. Free to use.

Hi Product Hunt — Bole here, the solo maker behind RuShiWoWen. 🙏

A few years ago, at 3:17 AM, I was in my warehouse in Wuhan, surrounded by 120,000 pairs of socks and a crashed backend system.

While debugging, I thought of a line from the Diamond Sutra: everything conditioned is transient, like a dream, a bubble, or a shadow.

After years of entrepreneurial pressure, Buddhist scriptures helped me find some steadiness. Classical Chinese was difficult to access, so in my 40s I taught myself Next.js and built RuShiWoWen.

But I later realized that access was only part of the problem. A scripture can be one click away, while the mind is still too restless to receive it.

So I built Zen Hall — a quiet threshold before reading.

Light a virtual incense stick. Sit for 3, 5, or 10 minutes with a bell, mantra, or sounds from nature. The 3D grotto follows your local time and a day-specific atmosphere. When the sitting ends, receive a passage and continue into the source scripture.

The core ritual is free and available without an account. Sign in to sync your stillness, choose mantra tracks, and download wallpapers.

No streaks. No pressure to perform calmness. Just a small pause before reading.

I would love your thoughts:

1. Can a small digital ritual help you move from everyday noise into focused reading?

2. What makes a contemplative digital space feel sincere rather than gimmicky?

Thank you for stepping inside.
