RunWhale
Turn an idea into an app, right from your phone
RunWhale is an open-source app builder based on DeepSeek Harness. Describe an idea, let AI edit the code, and try it on the same phone. Create or import Web and Expo projects, review changes, and keep building wherever you are. Development tools run on your device; AI uses a remote model provider you configure.
Hi everyone, I'm Tony, the maker of RunWhale.
I wanted to make the step from 'I have an idea' to 'I can try it' possible on a phone. RunWhale brings the conversation, project files, code changes, and app preview into one place.
It is built on DeepSeek Harness, Expo, and React Native. Start a project or import a repository, ask for a change, review what changed, and try the result on the same device.
Development tools run on your phone; AI inference uses a remote model provider you configure. The current focus is Web and Expo projects.
The source is open, with original code under Apache-2.0. The iOS app is a one-time paid download, listed at US$10 in the project README; regional store pricing and model service charges are separate.

I'd love to hear what you would build from your phone, and where the workflow could be simpler.
