RunStrengthLab
Adaptive strength training for runners
Most strength apps hand you a static weekly template and ignore your actual training. RunStrengthLab reads your real run load straight from Strava, so today's session reflects your real mileage and recovery, not a guess. Exercises come from a real catalog filtered to equipment you actually have, and it learns what you skip or dislike, adapting automatically. Plans generate one day at a time instead of locking a week in advance. Free, no credit card required.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Akansha, a runner (and swimmer, and now apparently a full-time strength-training-app builder). I built RunStrengthLab because I kept doing what every runner does: promise myself I'd finally start strength training, follow a generic plan for a week, miss one session because I only had 20 minutes and no gym that day, and then just... stop. Every plan I tried assumed I always had the same gym, the same energy, and the same week. Real life doesn't work that way, especially when running is already eating your recovery. So I built something that actually adapts. It reads your real training load from Strava, picks exercises from a real catalog filtered to whatever equipment you actually have, and learns what you skip or dislike so it stops suggesting it. Plans generate one day at a time instead of locking in a week that falls apart the moment you miss a session. It didn't start this way. The first version planned a full week at once, and I rebuilt it around daily plans once I realized the right workout for any given day depends on that day's actual run load, not a schedule I wrote three weeks earlier. It's free, no card required. Would love to hear from other runners who've tried (and abandoned) strength training before, what made you stop? And if you give it a shot, I'd genuinely love your feedback on where it still falls short.
