Runcaster started with my wife pasting screenshots of her Garmin runs into ChatGPT and asking "was this a good run? should I run tomorrow?" The advice was fine, but it was blind — no history, no splits, no heart rate, and she re-explained her goals every single time.
So I built the version with eyes. Runcaster connects to Garmin through the official API and your coach already knows your running before you say a word. You chat to build a training plan, and it adapts after every workout — tell it your knee is acting up or you're traveling Thursday, and the plan reshapes around your life. Planned workouts push to your watch as structured steps (intervals, pace and HR targets on your wrist), and after each run you get honest feedback on what the plan asked for vs. what you actually ran.
A few honest notes: it's running and walking focused (cyclists and swimmers, not yet). It's not a medical device and won't pretend to be. It works without a watch too — plans and check-ins in chat, connect a Garmin whenever. And your data is never sold or used to train models; you can see and delete everything the coach remembers about you, from inside the app.
