Hey Product Hunt,
I built Run Buddy AI because I wanted a running app I could actually use while running, without constantly checking my screen.
Most running apps are great at tracking or reviewing a workout afterwards. I wanted something more present during the session: clear spoken cues, pacing targets, adaptive coaching, and post-run feedback that can shape the next recommendation.
The product started as a structured workout engine with reliable audio timing. Over time, the AI layer became more useful when I treated it as a coach on top of a dependable local runtime, not as the thing controlling the workout. So the app keeps timing-critical cues safe and predictable, while AI improves context, wording, analysis, and recommendations.
In this launch, I focused on making the coach feel more practical day to day: adapting today’s recommended workout to the time you actually have, adding a start countdown, and improving live coaching context.
I’d love feedback from runners, coaches, and makers building audio-first or AI-assisted products.
