Routinex
AI travel planner that thinks like a local
Routinex builds full day-by-day itineraries powered by AI — anchored in real neighborhoods, not tourist traps. Customise by travel mode (Standard, Local, Budget, Cruise Port), pace, interests, dining style, travel group, and dietary needs. Every trip comes with a live map, packing list, and local fun facts. Free to try, no sign-up required.
I built Routinex because every AI travel tool I tried gave me the same generic itinerary — the Eiffel Tower, Times Square, the obvious stuff. I wanted something that actually thought about where to stay for a weekend getaway, which neighborhood to have dinner in, and how to move through a city the way a local would.
What makes Routinex different:
🗺️ Neighborhood-anchored itineraries — trips are structured by distinct local areas, not just a random list of venues. Each day has a geographic anchor so you're not criss-crossing the city. 🧭 Local mode — swaps tourist hotspots for neighborhood cafés, local markets, and everyday spots. Great for repeat visitors or anyone who wants to go deeper. 📍 Live map with venue pins — every slot in your itinerary is geocoded and plotted on a map. You can browse by day or see all pins at once with colour-coded routes. 🎒 Packing & facts — a contextual packing list (based on duration, season, and who you're travelling with) plus destination fun facts you probably didn't know. 🔧 Fully customizable — pace (relaxed / moderate / packed), travel group (solo, couple, family with kids, etc.), dining style, dietary needs, avoids.
I'm launching today as a free open access preview. No sign-up required — just type a destination and go.
Would love your feedback, especially on the local mode. I've been tuning the neighborhood selection and venue spread, and real user trips are the best way to stress-test it.
