Rootstep: Move Planner
Your move abroad, step by step, now in your language
New in 1.5: Rootstep now speaks German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Korean and Chinese. One plan for your whole move, every step dated from moving day, official steps linked to their official page. Shared with your family, no account.
I’m Alexander, a solo developer in Switzerland. Rootstep first launched here on 1 November. Since then it has learned German and Japanese, and French, Spanish, Korean and Chinese (simplified and traditional) are coming next.
Moving abroad is hard enough without planning it in a second language. Now the whole plan is in yours: you tell it where from, where to, when and who’s coming, and it builds every step in order, dated from moving day. Official steps link the official page, so you read the rule there and set the deadline yourself.
Also since the first launch: appointments with what to bring, “Will it fit?” for the sofa and the doors, a handover report you sign with the landlord, and your stay after arrival (renewals and residence days).
Free to try with everything for 9 days, then one purchase, the Move Pass, shared with your family. No subscription, no account, no tracking.
