I'm Tomos, founder of Roomint. I built this after noticing the same
pattern across hotels and Airbnbs: their listing photos are technically
beautiful but feel empty — sterile rooms, untouched pool loungers,
restaurants with set tables but no diners. Meanwhile, the listings that
convert best on Booking and Airbnb are the ones that show life: a couple
on the terrace at sunset, a family enjoying breakfast.
The problem: re-photographing with real people is expensive (€2k+ per
shoot, talent fees, scheduling guests, model releases). Most properties
just don't do it.
