Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm excited to launch RoleFit, an AI-powered job application copilot built with Google Gemini and deployed on Google Cloud Run! 🚀 💔 Job hunting in 2026 is exhausting. Hiring has slowed. Companies are more cautious. Job seekers can spend weeks or months applying, tailoring resumes, preparing for interviews, and waiting for responses that may never come. And here's the frustrating part: even when you're qualified, getting your experience across in an application can feel like an entirely separate job. I've experienced that frustration myself. Every promising opportunity meant dissecting another job description, rewriting my resume, crafting a cover letter, reaching out to recruiters, and keeping track of everything. I realized I was spending so much time preparing applications that I had less time for networking, learning, and actual interview preparation. That's why I built RoleFit. I can't control how quickly companies hire. But I wanted to make the application process faster, more organized, and more personalized. 🚀 What RoleFit does today 🎯 AI Fit Analysis: Understand how your experience matches a job, including strengths and skill gaps. 📄 Tailored Resumes: Generate role-specific, ATS-friendly resumes based on your experience. ✉️ Cover Letters & Outreach: Create personalized cover letters and LinkedIn messages. ✨ AI Copilot: Refine your application documents using natural-language instructions. 📊 Application Tracker: Manage applications and track progress through different hiring stages. 📥 PDF & DOCX Exports: Download your documents for review and submission. 📈 Some encouraging early traction RoleFit started as a solution to my own problem, but others have begun using it too. So far, Google Analytics has recorded: • 95 users • 524 AI generation starts • 322 document download events • 52 successful AI refinement events These are usage events, not unique completed applications, but it's encouraging to see people using the tools I built. 🎯 And what about actual hiring progress? Across my own job search and those of other RoleFit users, we've seen RoleFit-assisted applications progress to recruitment stages including assessments, recruiter conversations, and interviews with companies such as Meta, Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Revolut, Chegg, and Thomson Reuters. These aren't guaranteed outcomes or company endorsements. I also can't claim RoleFit alone caused that progress. But seeing applications move forward in a challenging hiring environment is meaningful to me. ☁️ Built with Google Cloud Run + Gemini RoleFit uses Gemini AI to analyze job requirements and create personalized application materials. The application is deployed on Google Cloud Run, and I'm excited to share it as part of today's Product Hunt Cloud Run Hackathon. ❤️ What I'm building toward I believe job seekers should spend less time formatting documents and more time pursuing opportunities, building relationships, and preparing for interviews. RoleFit is still evolving. My focus is improving accuracy, preserving each candidate's authentic experience, and making the application process less overwhelming. I'd love your feedback: What's the hardest part of job hunting right now? Is it finding relevant opportunities, tailoring applications, getting responses, or staying motivated through the process? I'd genuinely love to hear your experiences and what you'd like RoleFit to do better. Thanks for checking out RoleFit and supporting an independent builder! 🚀
