A small code editor for Windows, Linux and macOS. Written in assembly, with a built-in terminal, Git diffs, fuzzy search, Vim mode and a panel for Claude Code and Codex sessions. Free and open source.
I found myself using less of my editor as coding agents took on more of the work. I still wanted to read the code, make edits, run commands and check the diff.
rhun keeps those things close together: an editor, a terminal, Git and a panel for agent sessions. It is written in assembly and runs on Windows, Linux and Apple silicon Macs.
It is early, free and MIT licensed. Try it on a small project and tell me what gets in your way.
