RevUp
Your car's logbook — expenses, repairs, MPG and reminders
RevUp has been on the App Store since May, Ukrainian-only. This launch is the English one — and doing it properly meant more than translating strings. Units now follow your region. US accounts get miles, gallons and MPG. UK accounts get miles, litres and MPG, because Britain sells fuel by the litre and only measures economy in miles per gallon. Most trackers treat "imperial" as gallons at the pump and are 20% off. The receipt scanner reads the unit off the receipt itself, not off your settings.
Hi Product Hunt.
I sold cars at dealerships from 2015. Handover day was always a
small celebration — I would spend it walking a new owner through
their car, everything it does and how it works. Far too much to
remember in one sitting, so I always finished with "and it is all in
the owner's manual." Nobody reads the owner's manual.
Two days later the phone would ring. What was this? How do I do
that?
And then I would see the same people at the service desk, trying to
remember when the oil was last changed and what had already been
replaced. Some kept it in their head. Some in the notes app, or a
chat with themselves, or a scrap of paper in the glovebox. Most kept
nothing at all.
So I built the thing I kept wishing they had. It has been live in
Ukraine since May, and today it speaks English.
The part I underestimated was units. Not a formatting problem — a
gallon is 3.785 litres in the US and 4.546 in Britain, which is 20%,
and Britain does not even use gallons at the pump. Getting that
wrong quietly corrupts every average the app shows you. That took
most of the work.
Free, with a Pro subscription for scanning, attachments and
unlimited cars.
What do you keep your car's history in right now?

Who hunted RevUp?
RevUp was hunted by Taras Oliiarchuk. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
