We built Revoke for a practical problem in AI-assisted development: local AI tools are becoming more powerful and more connected, while their access to sensitive developer resources is hard to reason about.
Revoke is local-first. It helps developers inspect what AI coding assistants, MCP servers, CLIs, and background processes can reach on a machine: .env files, SSH material, cloud credentials, keychain-related paths, project secrets, and similar local surfaces.
This first release is intentionally focused:
- make local AI tool access visible
- keep the scan understandable
- let developers run the free version without an account
We are looking for feedback from developers, security engineers, and teams already using AI coding workflows in real projects.
