I've been thinking a lot about side projects lately.
It started with texting. Whenever I messaged someone, I kept wondering: was that a good reply? Did I just spend a lot of time saying nothing useful? So I built a side project around that idea.
I'm honestly not great at coding, so I leaned on Claude a lot. It came together through tons of iterations — fixing domain setup, debugging random errors, and everything in between. Honestly learned a ton just by shipping.
So here's what Revisome does:
It analyzes your text conversations and tells you which messages landed well, and which ones killed the moment. It also suggests what you could say next.
You just screenshot a conversation and upload it. The image isn't stored — no database, no accounts, nothing saved. It extracts the text using Gemini Flash 2.5 and visualizes the conversation for analysis.
Some of you might think: "Why not just paste the screenshot into ChatGPT?" Fair point. But the value is in the focused experience — you instantly understand the purpose, and seeing the feedback laid out visually feels different from a raw chatbot answer.
