ReviewForge
Steam reviews, analytics, and sync for AI agents
Connect Steam reviews, review analytics, and review sync to your AI agents over MCP. OAuth-capable clients and x-api-key clients both connect through the same /mcp endpoint.
Hi Product Hunt, I’m the maker of ReviewForge.
I built ReviewForge because Steam reviews are incredibly valuable, but still awkward to use in real workflows. If you want structured answers from review data, you usually end up stitching together Steam endpoints, dealing with sync issues, or scraping and storing everything yourself.
ReviewForge does that layer for you.
It syncs Steam catalog data, localized game metadata, and player reviews into a local mirror, then exposes that data in two ways:
- a review browser for humans
- a Steam Review MCP endpoint for AI agents and developer tools
With the MCP endpoint, agents can:
- search games
- pull filtered reviews
- read review stats
- check sync status
- trigger review syncs
It works through one endpoint and supports both OAuth-capable MCP clients and API-key based setups.
My goal is simple: make Steam review data queryable, filterable, and usable by both people and agents without forcing teams to build their own review pipeline first.
Would love feedback on:
- which agent workflows you’d use this for
- which review filters or analytics are missing
- whether the MCP-first positioning is clear enough
Happy to answer anything in the comments.
