Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Personal Gemini Journal because I’ve always found the hardest part of journaling to be… actually starting. A blank page asks you to organize your thoughts before you’ve even figured out what you’re thinking. So I tried flipping the process: Talk first → reflect → save what matters. You can have a multi-turn conversation with Gemini about an idea, your day, a decision you're struggling with, or whatever is on your mind. When the conversation becomes something worth keeping, you can send it to your journal, edit it, and save it to your private journal. The app uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore for user-isolated storage, Gemini for the conversations, and runs on Cloud Run. This started as a Google Gen AI / Cloud Run challenge, but after building it, I realized it could potentially become something much bigger — especially around long-term personal reflection and memory.
