Top comment
Before building ResumeCraft, I was freelancing — tweaking resumes for people across different professions. That's where I noticed the actual pain point: people don't know how to write or edit their resume for a specific job description. They kept coming back to me just to make changes so they could pass ATS and get an interview. Once I saw the pattern, I started brainstorming. It took about 3 months to build a working prototype, and another 4 months to turn that into an actual product. Here's how it works: log in, upload your resume, and edit it in the editor. Add a job description and it'll calculate an ATS score against that JD — if you skip it, generic mode kicks in instead. Pick your optimization mode, hit optimize, wait about 90 seconds, and you'll land on a results dashboard where you can re-edit or download the resume as a PDF. Hope it's useful — feedback's welcome, good or bad.
