Hi Product Hunt 👋
I read a lot of slow, dense books, philosophy, history, the occasional technical doorstop. For a long time my workflow was: copy a paragraph into a chat window, ask what it meant, get a genuinely good answer, close the tab. Weeks later, same book, same confusion, and the thing that had helped me remembered none of it.
The answers were never the problem. The problem was that nothing accumulated. Every session started from zero and I was the only one carrying any context.
Resage is my attempt at a different shape:
- You read the book. Real pages, your pace, nothing summarized away. The AI lives in a panel next to the text, not in front of it.
- Every claim it makes links back to the page it read it from, so you can check it instead of trusting it. If it can't find support in your book, it says so rather than filling the gap.
- It builds a picture of how you read: what you tend to ask, which kinds of explanations land for you, what you already know, and that picture follows you into the next book.
