👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Joe, the founder of RequirementMatrix. Over the last 15+ years, I've worked in software delivery, product, transformation and digital programmes across organisations of all sizes. One thing I saw repeatedly was that projects rarely struggled because teams couldn't build the solution. They struggled because requirements were unclear, incomplete, contradictory, buried in documents, or scattered across emails, spreadsheets and meeting notes. The consequences were always the same: misunderstandings, rework, missed expectations, delivery delays and endless debates about what was actually agreed. What surprised me was that while there are some excellent enterprise requirements management tools on the market, many are expensive, complex and designed primarily for large organisations with dedicated process teams. For smaller product teams, business analysts, project managers and transformation teams, the alternatives were often Word documents, spreadsheets, Jira tickets and a lot of manual effort. I built RequirementMatrix to bridge that gap. The vision is simple: make requirements easier to capture, assess, govern and trace without introducing heavyweight processes or enterprise-level complexity. One feature I'm particularly excited about is the free AI Requirement Checker. It's something I wish I'd had throughout my career. Paste in a requirement and instantly receive feedback on clarity, ambiguity, completeness and delivery readiness. The goal isn't to replace analysts or product teams—it's to help them produce better requirements before they become costly delivery problems. Today is just the beginning. I'm actively building the product, listening to feedback and working closely with early users to shape the roadmap. I'd genuinely love to hear: * How does your team currently manage requirements? * What's your biggest challenge with requirements today? * What features would make a tool like this indispensable for your workflow? Thanks for checking out RequirementMatrix, and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and answering any questions!
