Hi all, I'm Jon, the maker. I go to karaoke a lot, and my list got long enough that it became its own problem. The fun part is actually enjoying the time with friends and singing. I was losing a big chunk of that time endlessly scrolling a notes app, looking for the perfect song for the moment. So, I built the app I wanted. Every song carries a score for how confident I am singing it, and genre and mood tags fill in on their own, so choosing is filtering instead of remembering. It can filter out songs I've already sung recently at a given venue, so I can keep pushing myself to try new songs. I built in the features that I found myself needing and couldn't find anywhere else. It keeps a journal of each performance, venue, whether I changed the key, how it went, and an optional self-review rating. If you do contests it tracks placements too. I made choices deliberately to make this app how I think all apps should be made, with user control, utility, and privacy in mind. Scores can be turned off entirely if you'd rather not grade yourself. The outside search links are yours to pick rather than a set I chose for you. It's offline with no account and no ads, and it's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It's live on both stores now. I'd love feedback on what would make it more useful, especially from people who sing regularly. I update and add new features regularly, so it keeps getting better.

Who hunted Reprise?

Reprise was hunted by Jonathan Larson. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
