Repeat was first released in 2017. I wanted a habit tracker that didn't make me feel like I'd failed for missing a day. Most apps focused on streaks and statistics, and that never worked for me. After 2019, life got busy and the project sat quietly in the background. A few days ago, I decided it was time to come back. My goal hasn't changed: help people focus on today's habits and stay consistent without the noise. I'm excited to keep improving Repeat, and I'd love to hear what you think.

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Nelson, the solo developer behind Repeat. I first released Repeat back in 2017. If you're interested, I shared the full story in the launch description. The short version is this: chasing streaks never worked for me, so I built Repeat to help me focus on today's habits instead. A few days ago, I decided it was finally time to start working on it again. I'm excited to share this new chapter with you. 🌿 The principles behind Repeat 🔔 Multiple reminders for each habit I realized one reminder isn't enough for every habit. Drinking water, taking medication, or stretching often needs a few nudges throughout the day, so Repeat lets you set multiple reminders for a single habit. 📅 Flexible scheduling I don't believe every habit should be treated the same. Some are daily, some only happen on certain days, and some just need to happen a few times each week. That's why Repeat supports Daily, Fixed days, and Flexible days per week. 💬 Remember your Why I often forget why I started a habit in the first place. Writing it down helps me reconnect with that reason on the days I don't feel motivated, so I built that into Repeat. 💡 Motivational quotes Sometimes I just need a few words of encouragement to keep going. That's why Repeat includes motivational quotes to give me that little extra push when I need it most. 🗓️ Browse by day I found myself thinking about today's habits first, not next week. So I made today's habits the easiest thing to get to, while still making it easy to look ahead or back whenever I need to. 🎯 Simple by design I wanted Repeat to stay clean and straightforward, so I could spend less time managing my habits and more time actually doing them. This is only the beginning. Working on Repeat again has reminded me how much I missed building it.
