Repair Karte

Repair tracking that keeps your customers posted

Repair Karte is a simple system for small repair shops. Every item you take in becomes one ticket. Customers get an email at each step, check progress on their phone and approve estimates with one tap. On-site jobs work too: schedule the visit, then take the estimate and signature at the customer's place. Free for up to 100 repairs a month.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Shotaro, an instrument repair technician in Japan. Repair Karte started as the repair system for Bow, a music shop in Fujisawa, Japan (case study: https://repairkarte.com/en/for/i...). The two things it was built to cut down: customers calling to ask "is it ready yet?", and forgetting to tell them the repair is done. How it works: - Each item you take in becomes one ticket (customer, item, shelf, due date, staff) - When you move it from received to estimated to in repair to done, the customer is emailed - Customers check progress on their phone and approve the estimate with one tap - Print check-in tags, estimates, invoices and receipts as PDFs - Mail-in repairs and card payments through your own Stripe account It runs in the browser. The Free plan covers up to 100 repairs a month with no credit card, and every new shop gets all Pro features for 30 days. The English version is new, so I'd love to hear from anyone who runs or works at a repair shop: how do you keep track of repairs today, and what would stop you from switching?
