👋Hey everyone! We’re excited to present our first Unity SDK with any and all game devs out there and receive your feedback! The tool is designed to bring gaming asset mobility and blockchain-powered functionality to any Unity game.
🔗There’s no denying that blockchain gaming was game-changing in 2020-2021, letting players earn real money and assets through their playtime. However, with that came a lot of challenges faced by players. Absurd startup costs, complicated onboarding processes, and admittedly buggy game performance were just the tip of the iceberg.
🎮With this in mind, we at ReneVerse are trying to bring about the future of gaming – one where players can take their in-game assets between the games they love – without these issues. To that end, we present our Unity SDK as a first-step toward this new paradigm, which we like to call Borderless Gaming.
💻This SDK, built specifically for Unity, contains code packages that are easy to implement and will integrate NFT minting, asset metadata management and blockchain functionality into your game.
📩At present, our SDK does enable players within the same game to exchange unique assets with one another – a feature not yet observed widely in most games. Real asset interoperability, where assets of different games are exchangeable and cohabitable – think of Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy – is something we’re fervently building. Our SDK strives to be the first tool that can enable this.
